SESSION RATES
Individual Counselling Session for Adults: $175+GST (60 min)
Individual Counselling Session for Children and Youth: $175+GST (60 min)
Parent Consultation: $175+GST (60 min)
Session with Jesse Junck (practicum student): $60+GST
I offer 60 minute sessions as opposed to the standard 50 minutes because I have found through years of experience as a practitioner and client that 50 minutes is not a sufficient amount of time to make counselling sessions as effective as possible. In some cases, 60 minute sessions may also reduce the overall number of sessions a client requires to progress through challenges. When pro-rated to 60 min, my fees fall within the range recommended by the BCACC (BC Association of Clinical Counsellors).
You may receive funding for counselling if your extended health plan includes Registered Clinical Counsellors. Payment can be made by e-transfer, credit card or cash. I require 24 hours notice for appointment cancellation, and unless there are extenuating circumstances, you will be charged the full session fee.
